Hi all,
As most of you know, I bolted from Utopia to Brisbane to run a two day conference on "Diffusing Disruptive Staff Behaviors" for Ausmed Conferences and there were 200+ people there all with their own personal stories of workplace bullying, harrasment, lack of support, lack of acknowlegement etc.etc. I can't begin to explain how the energy I brought with me from Utopia lifted the room from the moment I walked in. With the help of Simone's trusty AAMichael spray and the light from Utopia, the room was quickly cleansed and the two days were motivating and inspirational for the participants instead of being a "wingefest" (as the evaluations clearly articulated).
From there I flew home and the next day headed off to Greece for an extraordinary four weeks! I had an amazing experience grounding on the Santorini volcano, swam in the sea with some merpeople (and I'm sure there were a few Atlantians there too), climbed Acropolis Hill and felt the gentle vibes of the Parthenon and then connected with the spirit of the red desert in Dubai............an amazing experience all round. In Greece we saw a wedding, a funeral and I tried to resuscitate a man pulled from the water on Parissia beach for 1/2 hour but unfortunately he died. Life and death.............the circle continues even when we're on holidays.
Utopia provided me with a wonderful cleansing and empowering beginning to a month of tranquility and rejuvenation and I am most grateful to all of the participants, speakers, attendees and of course Jan and my soul sister Suzie for contributing to the overwhelming experience it was for me. It was so great to play with Simone, Shaun, Max, Donna, Garry, Mz Margz and other long time pals, but also just as great to meet Isabella, John, Dean, Ian, Patrick and multiple other 'new' friends.
Roll on Utopia 2009 I say!
