Current Star Patterns (November)

by Edgar J. Winter

“The time has come the Walrus said”

Below is some very good star pattern advice from Astrology.com. In Summary the focus of the next month will be on Saturn and its ruler ship over Capricorn. Pluto will now enter that sign over several years for a complete renovation/overhaul of banks, governments and dictatorships whilst Uranus will oppose the planet Saturn bringing in the peoples revolution and utopian values. As a crisis in world monetary systems looms, more and more exposures will be made of nasty conspiracies to keep the international oil and munitions corporations in world domination and power.

Where there are large cities and people may not get cash easily for one reason or the other, then riots may occur and several incidents could lead to another war. These are not good times to go near any crowds in protest as the last time Pluto was at this very same point the world spun out into the French and American Revolutions. You are beginning to see the frustrations growing as the old systems vainly try to oppose the new changes. We now are really going to exist in “interesting times”…read on.

“Saturn is the builder, and Uranus breaks through or tears down the walls that Saturn has built. When these two planets oppose each other (as they do this month), the tension between what you are building in your life and what you need to change in order to move forward, is yours' and everyone else's project! These two planets oppose each other five times in this series, making this one of the most important themes in your life right now. November 4, 2008, February 5, 2009, September 15, 2009, April 26, 2010 and July 26, 2010 are the dates for these oppositions. If you know your chart, examine the two houses these planets straddle to see where in your life your responsibilities are intensified (Saturn) and where conditions are ripe for change (Uranus). “

“For example, if transit Saturn is in your Tenth House of career, and Uranus opposite in your Fourth House of home and family, for the next year and a half your professional responsibilities will increase, and changes in your home and family are likely. Aside from this transit, these two planets also reside somewhere in your birth chart. Examine where your natal Saturn is placed to see where your lifetime responsibilities lie, and where you have become an expert builder. Your natal Uranus shows the area of life where many changes have occurred and where it's essential as a life theme to stay open and fluid to change”.

Apart from our own individual charts, Uranus is exactly opposite to Saturn on 4th November, the date of the US presidential election, so it will be interesting to see the outcome. If anyone's interested in understanding the situation in the United States from an astrological perspective, you may like to get hold of a book called: "Soul-Sick Nationa, An Astrologer's View of America", by Jessica Murray. It's a great analysis of the underpinnings of the American nation and is fascinating reading.
